Committee for Urban Resources and Empowerment (CURE): Sounding The S.O.S.
The 2020 presidential election indeed saw record numbers of citizens express their voice through their ballot.
BUT the work in this election cycle is NOT fully completed.
The Senate run-off elections are critical and they will not be decided by ad campaigns, but rather by Georgians
casting their ballot.
If the January 5th mirrors past Georgia election cycles, there is reason to be concerned that voters will face extremely
long waits at polling places. Those voters deserve moral and actual support. You can HELP
CURE be there for them.
Hours long lines should be expected in numerous counties. Those who must, or choose to, vote in person should be supported with basic necessities: Water, Chairs, Masks and Sanitizing Wipes .
Voter suppression OPPOSES democracy. Bad actors and some elected officials committed more to power than the rule of law, will work hard to suppress voting. They can NOT prevail. We must oppose them with practical and strategic action. Know The Ballot , Protect The Ballot .
Our nation is as strong as our connection to and support of one another. On Election Day we can show which America will shine forth, by the comfort we give to those voting. A Chair to sit . Water to drink . This is who we are.
Support this important effort. Give what you can. www.thecuresrq.org
